[Kurukulla] September is our twentieth birthday!

Dear Kurukulla community,

I hope you are well and enjoying your summer.

Thank you so much for your support of our Center.

As the lamas often remind us, the purpose of our lives is to lead all sentient beings out of suffering and into enlightenment.

The way we do that is by first becoming enlightened ourselves and then teaching them the Dharma.

But we don’t have to wait until we’re enlightened to start bringing them the Dharma.

We can do it right now by supporting Kurukulla Center, which has been bringing Dharma to sentient beings for the past twenty years.

Please help us continue to do so by supporting the Center in any way you can.

Our main need at the moment is financial, and our main expenses are shown here:

As you can see, a third of our out-going funds support our precious sangha: Geshe Tsulga-la, Geshe Tenley-la, Ven. Tsunma-la and Ven. Ani Yeshe. Since my last appeal, a few kind people have stepped up with pledges toward Geshe Tsulga’s health insurance, which is now about half covered (another $300 to go). If you can make a monthly pledge to help cover some of our regular sangha support expenses, at least for the next year, that would be wonderful, most appreciated and highly meritorious.
