Dear Ones,
We're so excited that the weekend is almost here! Thanks to everyone's efforts, things are coming together; and we're almost ready to have a great weekend. Many, many thanks! And please do not forget to dedicate the vast amount of merits being created!
We need additional volunteers on Saturday and Sunday, including people willing to stay to pack things away after the event finishes on Sunday at 5pm.
Some event details (for late-breaking updates, please visit our website at http://www.Kurukull
- Animal Blessings – Based on our available volunteers, I've come up with two time frames for animal blessings: Saturday (10/31) 1pm – 2pm, and Sunday (11/01) 11am – noon. The blessings will be outdoors in the backyard. You're welcome to bring your pets at any time to circumambulate the Center and our stupa, but please keep animals restrained at all times.
- Event Schedule
- Friday (10/30): Opening Ceremony at 7pm, followed by general viewing of Relics
- Saturday (10/31): General viewing of Relics from 10am to 7pm; animal blessings from 1pm – 2pm
- Sunday (11/01): General viewing of Relics from 10am to 5pm; animal blessings from 11am – noon
- Parking – Please be considerate of our neighbors and do not block any of their driveways. Our neighbors will call Medford Police, and vehicles will be towed at owner's expense.
- Use Front Entry Door – Unlike normal teaching times, please come in through the front entry door and exit through the side door.
Some requests:
- To the extent possible, please be mindful that our precious Geshe Tsulga needs to rest during the day. It is difficult for him to rest when there is excessive noise downstairs.
- If you bring or eat food at the Center, please make sure that it does not have any garlic. Thank you for being mindful about this important detail.
- If you have a large SUV or VAN and would be willing to help take people to/from
and the Center, please let me know. If we have a very large crowd and we need to use overflow parking,Medford City Hall have been kind enough to allow us to use their parking. But we have no way to get people to/fromMedford City Hall and the Center. Please contact me at RelicsTour@KurukullMedford City Hall a.org to discuss possible ways and times when you could do this – if we need it.
I'll follow up with any last-minute requests. Please do not hesitate to contact me at RelicsTour@Kurukull
Much love,
Sean González,
Assistant Director,
Kurukulla Center
